Her debut dark fantasy series, The Wollstonecraft Legacy, weaves complex characters, twisting plots, and touches of the supernatural and sci-fi, inspired by her lifelong fascination with herstory, folklore, witchcraft, and the unseen forces that shape us.
Proudly Tasmanian, J.J. wrote her first book, S^ORD, on a battered laptop while juggling multiple jobs, raising two children, and grieving the loss of her mum to cancer. What began as uncertainty became something magical.
Beneath the thrilling twists lies something deeply personal. The Wollstonecraft Legacy is, in its own way, an autobiography, a reflection of ruination, resilience, and the quiet triumphs that shape a life.

The Wollstonecraft Legacy begins with S^ORD, the story of Pagan, a royal witch reborn in modern-day Tasmania and hunted by a rival who will stop at nothing to destroy her.
Set against the island’s wild, haunting landscape, the series dives deep into witchcraft, immortality, and human survival. It’s about power, exile, and return, and what it takes to stay alive when darkness is already here.
J.J. writes the way she lives: direct, honest, and unafraid of the shadow.

When she isn’t weaving webbed storylines, J.J. balances her creative life with her work in the spiritual and healing arts. As the owner of Red Room Reiki & Readings, she brings the same empathy and depth to her clients as she does to her characters.
Her sessions blend energy healing, rune and palm readings, and intuitive guidance to help people reconnect with their own story and strength. Known for her warmth and honesty, J.J. helps others see themselves, and their world, in a new light.
Through the Red Room, she also hosts events across Tasmania, including Crone Rising, which honours the feminine archetypes of Maiden, Witch, and Crone. For J.J., there’s no line between her writing and her healing work. Both are acts of transformation, ways to turn darkness into something radiant.
